They're both good, but the one with the black line stands out more. The one without the line seems to be softer. For example if you put them side by side the viewers eye would probably go to the outlined one first.
Yes, it's true, the lineless one is maybe too soft for my taste. I feel there's something missing. Maybe it'd be a fitting style for illustrations for really small kids... Thanks for your comment!!!

I think you got it: the one without lines probably fits more for children from 3 to 5 years old.
I hope the children from 3 to 5 would like the outlined drawings as well... I'll have to test it!
